Trees + Shrubs Need Love too!
Protect and elevate your landscape ornamentals against the challenges of intense heat and tropical conditions. These extreme environments create the perfect breeding ground for invasive insects and severe nutrient deficiencies. Our specialized shrub care program is strategically engineered to combat these threats, delivering a greener, healthier landscape with significantly increased bloom potential and lasting vigor.
Scheduled Care
Our Tree & Shrub program is designed to keep your landscape greener and healthier with increased bloom potential. Each landscape is different so our technicians are equipped and trained to treat various problems that may occur.
Specially blended granular and liquid fertilizers are typically every six weeks, but treatment frequency can vary depending on plant varieties and existing issues.
Technicians also provide insect and disease control for damaging pests like scale, lace bugs, and mites.
Crown + Root Drenching
Florida’s warm, humid climate creates ideal conditions for insects and diseases that can damage trees and palms. Crown and root drenching provides a targeted, effective way to protect valuable plants while minimizing unnecessary pesticide application.
Traditional treatments often involve spraying the trunk, foliage or canopy, where wind, rain and uneven coverage can reduce effectiveness. Trunk injections offer another option but require penetrating the tree and can leave injection wounds.
Root drenching applies systemic treatments around the root zone, where they are absorbed and distributed throughout the tree. Crown drenching, often used for palms, targets the crown and vulnerable new growth. By placing treatments where they’re needed most, drenching can reduce pesticide drift and provide efficient, long-lasting protection against many common Florida tree and palm problems.
Why Drenching?
Virtually no drift or runoff of pesticides
Applications can be made during windy and rainy weather
Trees are not wounded as with injection
Lower cost since specialized tools are not needed
Palm Spikes
Restore and maintain the vibrant, healthy green of your palm trees with our high-performance Fertilizer Spikes. Specially formulated for both established and transplanted palms, these spikes are the fastest, most efficient way to correct and prevent yellowing caused by manganese, magnesium, or potassium deficiencies. Designed for deep-root placement right next to the root ball, they slowly and continuously release essential nutrients over several months. Depending on your local climate, just one or two applications a year are all it takes to guarantee beautiful, thriving palms year-round.
If you notice discoloration on your palms, they are likely suffering from one of these common soil deficiencies:
| Deficiency | Common Symptoms | Solution |
| Potassium (K) | Older leaves show orange, yellow, or black spotting; leaf tips may wither and curl. | Slow-release potassium provided by the spike. |
| Magnesium (Mg) | Broad light yellow bands along the outer edges of older leaves, while the center stays green. | Targeted magnesium delivery to prevent severe yellowing. |
| Manganese (Mn) | "Frizzle top" appearance; new leaves emerge small, pale, withered, or scorched. | Essential micronutrient replenishment via deep root feeding. |
